Why not give yourself a treat with a trip to Huis Ten Bosch, one of the most popular family attractions located 6.8 mi (10.9 km) from central Sasebo? If you'd also like to explore some of the parks in Sasebo, Saikaibashi Park and Peace Park of Uragashira are both nearby.
During your trip to Nagasaki, you can find the perfect gifts to bring home at Shianbashi Alley. Stroll along the waterfront or experience the area's museums.
"Loved this hotel - room was a good size, shower was great. Air-con & WiFi both good too. Breakfast was lovely - plenty of choice and friendly welcoming staff. "
"Loved this hotel in Nagasaki! Location is great—can easily reach this hotel from the airport- the bus stop is right outside the hotel. The hotel is also a 10 minute walk from the train station. The tram stop is also right outside the hotel. Our room was large for Japan, the staff were wonderful, and the public onsen, with sauna and soaking tubs, was modern and sparkling clean. Loved the view from the 10th floor. Quiet and safe. We had a lovely meal at the small Japanese restaurant on the 1st floor. Will stay here again. Highly recommend! "
"Unhelpful staff (male) at checkout counter. We asked for help in calling a taxi to take us to the airport. The gentleman working at the counter told us the taxis would not come because it was raining. We found this hard to believe and in fact were able to flag one down after walking a bit and fortunately still made our flight in time.
We also had difficulty checking in. Our flight was delayed so I emailed letting them know that we were unable to complete the check in online as it would not accept our passport photos and that we would be late but when we arrived noone was there and we had to call the emergency number. We are elderly so perhaps this was due to our lack of tech skills though. "
