The hotel is perfectly located high in the village to take advantage of the stunning views over Barolo looking towards La Morra. The village of Monforte d'Alba is lovely with winding cobbled streets with a great choice of restaurants. In addition to great wine and food, there is much to do including great bike rides and wonderful walking trails. Must return for a longer stay.

We had an excellent 7 night stay at the Hotel Lis.
The staff were all helpful, pleasant and professional. We had a small problem with our mini bar light - it was fixed quickly and with no fuss. Smiles and greetings from all staff.
The breakfast is truly outstanding; we travel extensively in Europe and this was one of the best ever. Fresh, local, great variety, helpful staff... and the cakes!!

We loved our stay at Antico Podere Padano. Beautiful accommodation in historic buildings with authentic rustic feel retained. Jacquie and her team were super helpful and the restaurants they recommended are not to be missed.
A highlight of our holiday.
