Lovely hotel that is unique in Changdu. Subway stop right out front. The area is not the best, but is easy to get to all the locations you are going to want to see. Great staff, can’t fault them.

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Sichuan
Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Sichuan is during January, February, and September, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For a truly enriching experience that allows you to explore the region's significant landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions, a stay of at least 3 days is recommended. This duration provides ample opportunity to appreciate Sichuan's remarkable natural beauty and heritage, making it a great value for money for those travelling on a budget.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To explore last-minute deals in Sichuan, visit the Deals or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. Enabling email alerts or push notifications can keep you informed about flash sales and exclusive promotions, helping you secure the best prices. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re more likely to see great deals and be the first to know if prices drop or rooms become available for your spontaneous getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may allow you to save on your stay at a hotel in Sichuan. For those seeking distinct accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and potentially better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price be on the higher side, we will suggest alternative dates that may be more budget-friendly, helping you to secure a better deal.
Consider your location: Staying in the heart of major cities in Sichuan can offer unparalleled convenience and access to local attractions, yet it often comes at a premium price. Accommodations in bustling city centres are typically more expensive, while smaller towns and rural areas tend to be more affordable. For those seeking better rates, opting for hotels slightly outside the city centre may be a wise choice, although this could necessitate additional travel to reach key sights. Alternatively, exploring nearby cities can reveal a wealth of experiences while providing more budget-friendly options, allowing visitors to enjoy the richness of Sichuan without overspending.
