"The hotel is perfect for an overnight stay before a flight from Bristol Airport. It is conveniently located for both the terminal and multi storey car park. The food and service was very good too."

"Had a one night stay here and was highly impressed. The hotel is very close to, and part of the same group that owns, The Celtic Manor Resort. The hotel is only a couple of years old and in excellent condition. Location wise, it’s just a minute or so drive from the M4 junction at Newport. Overnight parking is charged but not excessive. Great staff. Fabulous room & bathroom. Good breakfast. Loved the place and would definitely return."

"The staff were very welcoming and made a fuss of our little dog. The food was excellent and the wine was a treat. They were very helpful and friendly. The inn was very characterful and felt very homely. I highly recommend a stay at The Oakhill Inn. It was also very popular with the locals which speaks volumes. Bridget"

"Beautiful place, the staff are great so friendly and helpful. The lady who owns the place is really lovely nothing is a problem for her such hardworking. Mark behind the bar is great so helpful and always willing to help. Beer is great, food is amazing and the rooms are fab so clean and welcoming. Loads of parking and overlooking a fishing lake. Will definitely be back soon."

"The gym is definitely a bonus! The staff were welcoming. I was pleased to see that there was fresh fruit available at breakfast, as I had mentioned the lack of fresh options in a previous review. The soap dispenser had also been included in the room (same one as previously), but there was no soap! Could this be topped up? Handy parking and shopping in the services area. "

"We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book again. Staff were all amazing. Couldn’t do enough to help. Housekeeping staff went above and beyond! Food was 10 out of 10… free parking always a bonus. Bed was comfortable. Although noisy with traffic we found it didn’t deter from a good nights sleep."

"All staff were friendly and helpful. Bar was pleasant and comfortable to enjoy a drink. We did not eat there but everyone there seemed to enjoy what they had. Perfect location for overnight stay for early flight. Room was comfortable and quiet. The only downside was the toilet cistern was difficult to operate. Would definitely stay there again. "Lovely chilled nights stay at the Old Manor House after a hard days work. Perfect location if you want to visit cheddar gorge. Plus a nice convenient pub across the road for an evening meal and a couple of pints. Freshly cooked Breakfast the next morning was lovely. I will certainly stay here again in future as I could fault it in any way!"
