*TRAVELER BEWARE* LOUD AND UNDER CONSTRUCTION - NO concierge - NO amenities - NO toiletries provided - NO luggage storage - LOUD construction - LOUD music - UNDER renovation We spent our first 2 nights in Rome here (Sat + Sun) encouraged by the high rating. Unfortunately, the entire building is under construction. As soon as you enter, you’re greeted by building materials, garbage bags, tools, broken furniture, scrap material, etc. in the lobby. You have to complete all your check-in in advance over email or WhatsApp, after which you’ll be sent a code to enter the building. You’re on your own from here. The building is wrapped in scaffolding for renovations taking place on the outside too, so expect to see construction workers outside your window daily (literally within reach) regardless of which floor you’re on. While the location is very central, you are right next to a night club and the blaring music is so loud that you won’t be able to sleep. The best way to describe it from the room is like being in the washroom of an actual nightclub. The windows aren’t soundproof or at least we didn’t think they were. In terms of the room itself, it was actually quite nice, spacious, and recently renovated. However, there are no amenities whatsoever except a kitchenette with a microwave and kettle in the common area/hallway. They also don’t provide any toiletries so you’ll need to bring your own shampoo, body wash, etc. VERDICT: STAY ELSEWHERE. Overpriced."
