"We had a wonderful experience at this old, inclusive hotel from the amenities in their room to the staff and the restaurants. The only thing I was disappointed is the beach location and wifi access. Beach in front of hotel has erosion barriers and rocks. I would definitely stay here again if I didn’t care about getting out of the hotel to go to the beach, but with so many hotels available to choose from, I will try a different one next time. "

"Fantastic stay! The beach was beautiful and well maintained, food was delicious, rooms are ample and super clean. We had previously stayed at Royal Haciendas in 2023 and did not have a great experience - we thought we would give this place another try and have nothing but great things to say about our stay in 2026. Once of our guests experienced an injury while at the resort and I can not highly recommend the Dr. on site enough - he is very thorough and genuinley cares about his patients. Hotel management went above and beyond during our stay. Also - would like to give recognition to a few staff members who made our stay extra special. Our kids loved the kids club and Danna, Diana, Kitzia, and Geo made their week. Alejandro at Kinoko restaurant provided great service all week long as well!"

"Rooms in the 5000 block have beautiful private decks open to the ocean. Highly recommend. Very clean and well maintained. The hotel appears older at first glance, but you will fall in love with the location and service. "

"Great time. Had one of the four oceanfront swim up pool next to the big gazebo. Awesome spot. Quick walk to pool if that's your thing or just chill on the patio, in the pool, or right on the beach. Food was great overall. Some things weren't to our liking and other things we got twice! Drinks were generally weak. Awesome coffee! Got couples massage at Magic Spot, 2 minute walk from the front gate. Saw some raccoons and a possum a few times - good bug eaters and they ignore you. Beach is really small. Seaweed is around. I was bad one morning after a pretty windy prior day but they had people out there cleaning it up. They offer numerous activities like yoga, stretching, neat little arts and crafts, pool games, nightly shows - do it all or do nothing! I'd go back. "
