"Beautiful hotel!
Food was lovely, room was so nice.
Only issue was that you can hear the pumping of music and taxis outside beeping etc when picking up people from the clubs.
Apart from that, we would return."

"Stauntons on the Green was a wonderful place to stay. It was right across the street from St. Stephan’s Green park. Our grandchildren loved the park. It was walking distance from many notable places to enjoy. Our room in the basement was large and had two big windows to see the elevated sidewalk outside. They have a delicious breakfast and a lovely garden behind the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our bags."

Interesting building incorporating an old convent with modern hotel accommodation, bar and restaurant. Rooms surprisingly quiet except for the a/c and the bed was very comfortable.

What a beautiful hotel! Everything was fabulous, including the staff. The deluxe double room is small but perfect. The breakfast sensational!
The only negative - pillows were really hard.

We booked two nights at The Alex after a month of touring around Europe, as our return flights to Australia were booked from Dublin.
I was impressed the moment we walked in the door, we were given a warm welcome by Simon at reception - which was very pleasant and appreciated, especially having just arrived from Spain where we had endured quite a bit of bad service to put it kindly. The hospitality remained consistently fantastic during our entire stay - I must commend the professionalism and...

The helpfulness of the staff here was notable. Very responsive to any request.
While a bit out of the loop, there is a station nearby as well as a Hertz office, supermarket, chipper, pub just a couple hundred metres away. while we did not need to park a car we noted this hotel has great parking. Given how expensive all the Dublin hotels were over this weekend, we were lucky to get this one. While pricey it was the best value we could find.
