"Counter staff average. Restaurant was on cash bases. I use credit. Bed was not soft. Sink and shower not properly cleaned. No hand bar soap. Tripping hazard at bathroom threshold due to 3/4 difference in surface. Would stub toe every single time."

"At Yaya is a great value hotel that is conveniently located next to the Lak Song MRT station. I stayed here for over a week and had no issues with staying here. The only things were minor such as lacking a hot water kettle and a microwave (which I consider extras). It is very close to a modern Shopping Mall and getting a taxi was not a problem (most of the time). The location is in an alley which makes it quiet, but made navigation for taxis an issue a couple of times. There is a parking lot...

"Hugely overpriced. The property has been allowed to reach a run down state. Because I took the key away with me during the day the room could not be cleaned. Looking at the furnishings I would say that this was once quite a nice hotel. Overall experience...disappointing. "

"This is not a bad hotel, just not what it is advertised to be. Upon arrival I was shown to a pokey little room which was clearly not what I booked. When I objected I was given the room I had booked which was bigger and better but very tired and shabby. It is not an expensive hotel but I just wish hoteliers would be truthful in their description."

"Big issue I had here was my wife was pregnant and they did have an elevator. Also room was not very clean and had ants. Asked to just cancel even though we were only there for 5 minutes front desk called the manager who then said no refund. So asked if we could change to the main building that has an elevator as wife is 8 months pregnant and the stairs are too much for her. Front desk calls the manager again who said yes but it’s an upgrade and will cost $175 more, Expedia even tried to...

"Great location! Near BTS Skytrain.
Clean room and comfortable bed. Many restaurants options near the hotel. Safe area and in the central part of Bengkok. "

Great property, great prices, the only reason I deducted a star was the mattress was very hard. Not very comfy for my liking. Apart from that everything was exceptional. Great staff, great pool and gym.

This hotel was in the best location and such value for money. Walk to the Grand Palace, quick Grab/Taxi to Icon Siam and the surrounding streets were so interesting to walk around and explore. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy, the pool was great and the location was on a smaller quieter street with heaps of food trucks to choose from and only one street from Khaosan Road (although a bit full on, you can still find somewhere nice and relaxing). We felt very safe at all times. I would definitely...

Restaurants and bars very expensive so you need to go out to eat.
Hotel getting a little tired.
Gym only has 2 tread mills and is too small for over 300 suites
If in process of renovation hotel should link with a local gym.
Service in Club Room fantastic but no Champaign in Club Room.
Club Room food below average
Not enough lifts for Club Rooms especially at weekends when restaurants and bars open to public.
Manager Jacopo very very good. We had a few issues initially during my 14 day stay and...

Partly outdated, but overall a good place to stay. I would happily stay again but only in the Shangri-La Wing. We requested a room change to the Shangri-La Wing because the Krungthep room and hallways were very outdated. Great location and friendly staff.

Whenever I am in Bangkok, and that is at least once each year, I try and stay at the Pathumwan Princess. The views over the city are fabulous and I don't think that there is any other Hotel closer to the city centre. You only need 5 minutes to walk to the nearest SkyTrain station with most of that through the adjacent air-conditioned shopping complex. The pool is fabulous and long enough (nearly 27m, although the hotel Manager would dispute that), water temperature is almost perfect for...

The hotel was alot better than we expected, easily the best hotel we have ever stayed we plan to come back one day.
Only negative feedback we have is that it they do not serve alcohol in the hotel itself, you need to bring your own, which is a shame since the views from level 50 are amazing we would of loved to enjoy some cocktails there. But besides that everything else was perfect

Fantastic location- short walk to BTS sky train and in close proximity to Central world. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel pillows are the best we've slept on... A special thanks to Keng for going out of the way and making our stay a pleasant one.

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Bang Khae
Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Bang Khae is during May, September, and October, when hotel prices are typically lower. For an enriching experience, a stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended to thoroughly explore the area's significant landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions, all while enjoying the warmth of the local community. This timeframe offers great value for money, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the unique heritage of Bang Khae without straining their wallets. Additionally, prices could drop during these months, making it an even more attractive option for those travelling on a budget.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Bang Khae, you may want to explore the Deals or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you could find discounted rates as your travel date approaches. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you’re more likely to see updates on flash sales and special promotions, helping you seize opportunities to save. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you receive timely notifications if rooms become available or prices drop for your preferred hotels.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay at a hotel in Bang Khae. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and, in some cases, better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we’ll suggest more affordable dates, which may help you secure a better deal.
Consider your location: Opting for accommodation near key attractions or city centres may provide added convenience, but it often comes with a higher price tag. To find more affordable options, consider hotels situated in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to your desired destinations. You might also look into independent hotels located a bit further out, as they usually tend to be cheaper and can offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
