Good choice and great location
Pros: - Great location on the edge of the City and just metres from the Tube - Clean - Calming decor - Comfortable bed Cons: - I felt the room was a little small for the price - Both me and a fellow traveller were given wheelchair accessible rooms. To be fair, at checking the receptionist asked if it was OK and at the time I didn't see a problem. However, it was slightly inconvenient because the basin was very low and the rimless shower made the whole bathroom floor very wet (I don't know - the other rooms could have the same problem). Not a big deal, but worth mentioning for the benefit of future travellers who don't need this type of room.

Perfect cosy hotel for post long haul flight
Would describe it as a quirky chain. Great bed, gigantic showers, asked for a quiet room and got just that.

Very well presented hotel, clean and new. Staff were very helpful, let us check in early after a long flight. Small issue with heating but overall very good hotel. Would stay again. Close to lots of good markets and sites in east London.

The Clayton Hotel was in a great location. Reminds me of downtown Brooklyn, NY. It felt like home. Our room was clean and comfy. The staff were amazing and very helpful.

No street access to hotel.
No taxi or car access to building. Upon arrival, we had to enter via the restaurant. Nobody available to help us with our bags. Similar upon departure. We had to help ourselves to a trolly to get our bags out to an access point for our taxi to the airport. Staff said they could not "leave the building" to help us. Definately not 4 star hotel service.
