Check in staff was professional and proactive. We arrived early at 7+ am and the staff arranged for early check in at ~10am. In the interim the concierge suggested we have breakfast at a nearby restaurant which was a good recommendation. Room was spacious and clean. Overall a pleasant experience.

Pleasantly supprised.
This was an amazing hotel. Very clean and the employees were friendly and courteous. There was always a person on staff who spoke English. It is located inside a department store. It is super convenient for restaurant access and shopping. If you are an early riser there is a nice little pork bun place down the street on the corner. Inexpensive and delicious. make sure you have an address for the taxi driver, it is a little newer and not all taxi drivers know where it is.

Decent once I moved room
Large, comfortable room with nice lighting as you would expect from a Holiday Inn. The staff were helpful and accommodating. They moved me from a room with an awful view to one looking at the mountain (view from original and new room shown and I don’t think it’s fair to expect someone to pay the full price for the former). The gym was small but nice to have - I was the only person in there other than a self obsessed woman who spent half an hour taking pictures of herself in the mirror whilst her 5 year old child protested and played with the gym equipment. Finally just be aware that you can’t upgrade to a different class of room when you get to the hotel if you booked through Hotels.com.

Friendly and helpful staff, great location at lanzhou center, walking distance to shopping mall, restaurants and Gansu museum. Definitely we come back when we travel lanzhou again. Highly recommended!

Price a bit high, but really nuce
That was very good. The room was very good, big and comfortable, also the location was quite good. Next is the department store with the supermarket, the shipping mall with lot of restaurants. Many thanks for helped us to call the taxi at 5.00 in the morning.
