Château Abraham was built in 1914 by Honorable Lieutenant Fritz Bullrich. It is located in a small, idyllic village just a few minutes from the famous Lake Starnberg, where in 1886 the legendary King Ludwig II died. Today, Château Abraham is a privately owned property of the Abraham family. It is neither a hotel nor a hostel, but a beautiful house with charm and flair beyond the usual travel experience. The family lives here together with some congenial long-term tenants and their pets (small dog, cats, chickens, sheep and bees) and hosts a wonderfully diverse mix of guests from around the world with a variety of cultures and walks of life. Château Abraham is surrounded by beautiful old trees and opens to a large, wild park in the south. In the north, a small lake reflects the silhouette of the house, if not the many carp cross the water surface. In the east, a 500-year-old Gothic church watches over the castle and its inhabitants.
In a small farm in the immediate vicinity you can visit Kühne and calves and buy fresh milk every day, which reveals the wonderful Bavarian nature in taste and quality. Bicycle rental for an extra charge.
