Fantastic
A fantastic experience. We stayed for one night as we were attending a concert at the arena. The location couldn't have been more ideal for this. The entrance into the old part of the building is very impressive and we were pleasantly surprised to be informed at check-in that we had been upgraded to the tea-themed suite - given that we paid for our room with Tesco Clubcard vouchers I have to say we felt like frauds! The hotel is brand new and the design, specification and in particular the quality of finish are exceptional. Our room was excellent with a huge comfortable bed, large TV, bluetooth sound system with a speaker built into the bathroom, a coffee machine, slippers and bath robes. Despite the inner city location there was no noise apart from the occasional faint toot of the Metrolink trams which was not intrusive at all. If I could pick one small fault with the room - and this really is being picky - some instructions on how to work the Nespresso machine and the Smart TV/speakers etc would have been handy. We worked it out for ourselves easily enough and I'm sure the staff would have talked us through it had we asked. Breakfast again was superb with a great choice. My wife has coeliac disease and the waitress explained the various options available in detail which is always reassuring. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone - we'll certainly be back.

AmaIng stay
Loved our stay rooms amazing beds very comfortable , breakfast in he morning everything you could wish for and more tastes amazing. had a couple of issues with the booking was given a double bed when requested twins and said breakfast wasn’t included but said it was in the confirmation email and no milk in the room the staff sorted these issues out professionally and quickly very impressed. issue with was the lift only 1 working and no stairs (can only access in emergencies) therefore every guest has to get the lift regardless what level creating packed lifts and waiting. But said this issue will be resolved soon. If Your staying in Manchester this would be a place I would recommend spot on request a high room as the views are amazing from 12 looking over next

Good 6.0
Disappointing.
Room excellent with very comfortable bed and stylish bathroom. But... breakfast, which we paid extra for, was an absolute farce. First the 15 minute wait in a queue to get seated, secondly being told that there was "at least a 30 minute delay for a hot breakfast", then nobody came to take our order (tea and coffee has to be delivered). We ended up walking out after a wasted 30 minutes. We had no breakfast at all other than a small glass of orange juice. There were far too few staff on duty. One person we heard complaining was told "you should have got up earlier". Tables were uncleared. The kitchen was unable to cope. It was a disaster and a very poor end to a nice stay. There were other issues, the reception area is too small, we had to queue when we checked in and checked out and the queues for the lifts were ridiculous. Overall this hotel is not able to cope when its busy. If you go on a Saturday night, be prepared to wait and queue a lot.

Not a great service!!!!!
I requested an early check and was told they would try and accommodate us. When we got there we were told there was No check in before 3.. then watched as they proceded to check in 3 other couple's. I rang down and asked was there a scissors in reception to be told no.. i only wanted to cut a label off a top. We went into the bar were i was over charged gor a drink. £7.65 for a coke and 1 bottle of peroni. I wasnt impressed with the service at all. On check out. We had to leave by 11. At 10.20 the cleaner was at the door. For the money the service really let them down.

Nice but not great
The hotel is a very clean, modern and impressive place, but my partner & I were disappointed with the comfort of the beds and the linen - I get that it is personal preference, but they were too firm and as stupid as it sounds, the linen was too slippery. Another frustration was that we were given a disabled room. What this meant is that we didn’t have a regular sized sink, and I had to virtually get on my knees to wash my hands. In addition to this, the mirrors were a waste of time as they were so low down (because it being a disabled room). Overall it’s a nice hotel, but not the most enjoyable visit for myself.
