Poor 2.0
Most terrible experience! Very rude hotel manager!
6 of us, 3 couples, stayed here 2 weeks ago before going to other parts of S.America. One couple was given a room with 2 beds which was of good size. But the other 2 had to stay in awfully small queen-bed rooms as per our booking. When we checked in this time, we asked if rooms with 2 beds could be arranged. 2 pairs of us were happy to hear ‘’yes” from the lady processing our check in. The other pair, who were handled separately by the hotel manager Ms Diaz, were asked to show their booking confirmation. Then, Ms Diaz pointed at the paper confirmation and said “Your booking is queen-bed room. If you want 2 beds, you have to pay extra.”. Goodness, that was really rude! I could still remember Ms Diaz had very arrogantly told us “I am the manger, the only manager!” But a hotel manager should know how to decline a customer request in a much more respectable manner. Well, the worst was yet to come! When we checked out, the 2 couples who were given rooms with 2 beds were asked to pay for the upgrade. How ridiculous! If it wasn’t a free upgrade, the charges should have been clearly explained and agreed upon before we were given the keys! We got really furious when we heard Ms Diaz said “but you took the rooms and stayed!”. We refused to pay and told her to call the police. She didn’t and in the end, we had to write/sign a statement clarifying why we would not pay the extra charges. Ms Diaz has achieved her goal: we were terrified and would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good 6.0
room too small, little amenities
we booked a room with 1 queen bed. It was far too small, there wasn't even sufficient space to open our 2 medium suitcases. Water was not provided. So we had no water all night as the nearby supermarkets and convenience stores had closed after we had checked in.

Exceptional 10.0
Great hotel but standard rooms small for couples
It was a great hotel. Everything was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and very satisfying. However, standard rooms are small. If you are travelling alone like me, it won't be a problem at all, don't hesitate to book. However, if you're travelling as a couple, I would advise against booking a standard room.

The bedroom was small although it was enough for us. We had a shut down on energy in our room but it was properly fixed by the team.
