This hotel is within the wider old quarter, and walking distance to the night market and tourist most sights.
We were initially a little annoyed as our room had been given away before we checked in, and the only option left was a room without windows on the ground floor, while not awful it was just not what we were expecting. The staff were very apologetic and promised us that we would be moved the next day to the correct room, we also came to an satisfactory arrangement for a discounted first night, this promise was met and our room for the next few nights was on the top floor and while a little cramped (contained 2 beds as travelling with a pre-teen and 3 large bags) it was clean and well appointed, it was also a cool haven from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi.
The staff were very friendly, smiling, and always willing to assist with any request, you can even book tours through them.
The hotel price included breakfast which was a combination of buffet, and freshly cooked eggs, poached, scrambled, or boiled, the choices available were pretty good and what we expected, the fresh juices and extra strong coffee were excellent.
There are a lot of choices for accommodation in Hanoi, we walked past may while wandering the street, I guess in rating this hotel the question we ask ourselves is would we stay here again, and based on the location, price, rooms, and the staff, our answer would be yes.
