This is new property that opened just a few months ago. Unfortunately we had to deal with quite a few of the growing pains that they are going through. Specifically, upon arrival (at 6PM), we had to wait over a half hour to get into our room (while they were inspecting it) - really? They put us in a handicap room - very spacious but the drain in the shower didn't work and since there was no lip (wheelchair accessible), the entire bathroom and beyond got flooded after just one shower (there were three of us). They served a very average breakfast until 9:30AM. We arrived for there at 9:27 and were greeted with 'You have 3 minutes'. Not very welcoming. Lastly, we had no housekeeping service on our last day. After a long hot day in the city, we got back to our hotel (11:30PM) to find that the beds were not made, wet towels still on the floor, no shampoo , etc. While I appreciate their attempt to make all this right with a sign-up for the Hyatt rewards club and some bonus points, they should have addressed the issues on the spot. Oh well. I'm hoping they get their act together.

Great help from Ashante
We got there early and,of course our room wasn’t ready yet, but they were very accommodating in making sure we New we could drop our bags, and valet park right away. After a few hours we returned but our room wasn’t yet ready although it was after check in time. I said we didn’t care what type room they had available we would take it. The supervisor said that would not be possible because they were fully booked. One other couple were in the same situation. It must have been shift change time because soon a new attendant came on, and saw the two of us waiting (we weren’t together) and sent someone else to talk with housekeeping to see what the holdup was. Shortly after she announced that she would flip around assignments of rooms and get us checked in! Ashanti was our savior, we had plans that we needed to get ready for (I believe the other couple had a wedding to attend), and she helped us out, even if it went against the supervisors suggestion. So Thank Ashante for being a great help, and a very pleasant woman! You have a 1st class employee there! Outside that hiccup, we enjoyed your hotel, and we will definitely return!

Exceptional 10.0
We were happy
The hotel was very comfortable and clean. Only a couple years old. The cleaning girl was new. I had to catch her in the hallway to get to our room. It was about 5:30pm and she had already passed. We needed toilet paper and garbage emptied and caffeine coffee....not just decalf. They give nice ceramic cups in the room but the crappy powdered creamer. I just went downstairs and got the morning coffee which was good. It was a great stay and I recommend it. The valet did a great job accommodating us at the 2 hotels where our event took place. His name is Brain. Great guy and a great help since I booked the wrong Hyatt and had to go back and forth daily.

We had requested a room with 2 Queens and a pullout sofa. This was a last minute booking. I was bringing 4 children to the city from 2 hours away for a concert (their Christmas gift) and a big snowstorm was predicted. We decided to spend the night, rather than skip the concert and I was thrilled that a room so close to Fiserv was available. Despite check in beginning at 3, our room wasn't ready yet at 5 pm when we arrived. From the look of the crowded lobby, we were not the only ones who had to wait. We waited for over an hour. Still nothing. Finally we were offered an "upgrade" that was ready. The upgrade ended up being a King room with pull out sofa. Not what we wanted. My 3 daughters (21, 16, and 14) shared the King while my 11 year old son and I took the pull out. Very disappointing. Our breakfast was delicious. However, food was low, and they made it clear that it would not be restocked, despite about 45 minutes left of the buffet. There was no clean silverware other than butter knives. Staff was annoyed when I brought it to their attention, despite my apologies for bothering them while they were clearly busy. They ended up passing out pre-packaged plastic forks and spoons, though, which was appreciated. I realize we were hit by bad weather and it got busy. However, the storm had been predicted a week out and there was a major concert that night. I feel they should have been better prepared for what happened.

Nice hotel, poor housekeeping
The hotel was new and in very good condition overall. The gallery hosts were all very nice. However, there were two primary issues related to housekeeping. On arrival, our original room was clean, but the mini fridge had not been cleared out and there was left over food from the prior guests still in there (see photo). We were immediately given a similar room one floor up. Additionally, on our third day, we returned from being out in the heat all day at the State Fair and an afternoon Brewers game and came back to a room that wasn't cleaned. There were half full garbage cans, no clean towels, and used coffee mugs still on the counters. When we notified the gallery host, she apologized but let us know that at 5:30 on a Sunday afternoon there were no housekeeping staff on duty to clean the room. We asked for and received clean towels, and got another apology but that was it. upon checkout the next morning, I again mentioned the dirty room issue to the host handling our checkout and he apologized and then took $34 off our nearly $700 bill (room plus valet for 3 nights). Overall, the host staff is very nice, but simply being good at apologizing doesn't rectify issues left behind by mediocre cleaning staff, especially when you are paying nearly $200 per night for a room and $30 per night for parking.
