Needs a good clean
Stayed here 2 nights, 1 either side of a trip to Fraser Island, 2 different rooms, both needed a good clean. Went in 4 Shared bathrooms all of which weren’t clean. Also no storage space for your stuff or anywhere to hang any wet items. Positives the Staff were very friendly and pool was nice. Decent location and cheap.

Hostel
It's a hostel and the private room is really just a bed and a fan (like in the picture). Our room was the first and the window opened directly onto the stairs so no leaving that open over night. There were a couple of other noisy guests. The cushions were essentially empty. All in all it's a hostel and you just gotta decide what level of comfort and privacy you're looking for.

Everything was clean and enjoyable for a hostel type of place, and the price was an excellent deal. Our booking was lost due to human error, but the staff present at the time managed to take care of everything and get us a room anyway (though the person helping us was sure to carry on about whose fault it actually was, not that it made any difference to us because we just wanted a place to sleep).

Great place to stay and great staff but the kitchen doesn’t open till 5:30am and the car park gates are locked meaning you are trapped if you need to leave early. I was doing the triathlon so needed to be up at 4am and couldn’t have any breakfast and all my food was trapped in the kitchen.
