Nice meal, shame about the room!
The best part of my stay was the evening meal, excellent along with very good service. However, the double room I had was small and lacking in many ways. The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were very poor, and the room looked very tired. The shower in the en-suite was one of the worse I have encountered, it took for ever to get hot and then the flow was extremely poor. Breakfast was complimentary if you booked direct, I had to pay as went via, wish I hadn’t bothered, very poor selection of juices, fruit and limited range of hot items. The people are nice but will not be back.

Very good 8.0
The pub was easy to find and well sign posted, and we got there before 14.30 as it then closes until 18.00. This is a B&B not an hotel so it has no reception. We had to find a member of staff as it has a busy restaurant. Once we were booked in and shown to our room, which was light and airy, and well maintained, we were given keys to the external door so we could come and go as we pleased. Very nice chatty staff, restaurant with a full menu and local produce. A few hiccups with the wifi which they readily put right. A very pleasant stay.

Comfortable and Quiet
The Norfolk Lurcher is a comfortable place to stay; the bed was comfortable and the room was clean and nice. The area is really peaceful and only 20 minutes into Norwich. Would recommend. One thing to note is that check-in can only take place during their general opening hours unless prior arrangements are made. We arrived when the pub was closed and had to come back later. We missed the check-in instructions so it would be worth checking those out.
