    Marina del Cantone Italy

Great low key spot to just relax and enjoy the little fishing village of Marina del Cantone, Italy. You will sleep late because of the ocean right out your windows. Only recommendation is rent a car to see the sights and be a very good driver. The off season is great with less people. Raffelle was very very helpful

    Beautiful waterfront home!

This house is a beautifully restored fisherman's cottage in lovely Nerano. When you stay here, everyone in town knows you are staying in "the villa". The home has two large, identical bedrooms with gorgeous windows that open right onto the bay. The beds are comfortable and we slept great listening to the waves roll in just outside. The family room is large with two sofas and a dining table that seats at least 8. Every room including the kitchen looks out on the stunning view. A long patio has a round eating table and plenty of chairs and lounge chairs to relax by the sea. It just can't be overstated what a gorgeous location this is! The little town of Nerano is so charming. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and there are so many excellent restaurants. Our favorites were Mary's Beach (get the shrimp appetizer!), Le Sirene, Il Cantuccio, Bar YeYe (for a wider selection of drinks and wonderful appetizers), and Bar Titono (run by the house manager, Raffaele). There are two great hikes you can take from the town (to Ieranto and Recommone) and and it's possible to hire boats and also take a ferry to Capri right from the bay. We took a couple of day trips but honestly couldn't wait to get back to our cottage paradise each time we left. It does take quite a bit of time to wind back up the road out of Nerano so factor that into your planning. There is a tiny but well stocked little market in town for most of your essentials. If you want to slow down and relax in an absolutely beautiful setting with many great dining options then you will love this rental!

    Amazing on the water home

Location, location, location!! We loved this property, and so enjoyed this authentic Amalfi Coast home. Raffaele was a terrific host, and arranged a private boat for us to Positano. If you like privacy on the water, this home is amazing. Thank you!

    Wonderful

This property was great. Prime location, plenty of space, beautiful view. Next door to many restaurants in the marina as well as the boat to Capri. We would recommend this location for anyone heading to the Amalfi Coast.

    A magical home, A+ setting

We loved our time at this special home and small sea town. We were there to celebrate our 35th anniversary and everything about the experience was fantastic! Raphael was a great host, and the villa right on the sea is truly one of a kind. We loved settling into the tempo of the small fishing village lifestyle and the people there, who were all so friendly. Amazing hikes literally right out the door, and up to the village of Nerano, and the opposite side of the bay - and many wonderful restaurants in town to choose from.. Our weather was occasionally rainy, but were able to drive to Positano (curvy and crazy as this part of the world is) which was a breathtaking ride, and also take the boat to Capri, and enjoy some other sights around the Amalfi.

Stunning, authentic Italian escape to Amalfi Coast!

Nicely renovated, clean villa. Perfect size for two couples. Raffaele, villa owner is responsive and accommodating. Several good restaurants just a few steps away. Small village without a lot of tourists from other countries. Capri Island a half hour boat ride. Market shopping limited, recommend bringing food/beverages from another village/city. We will stay again!

    Perfect Location

Our visit to Villa La Punta was wonderful. It was the perfect amount of quiet and restful place that we were looking for, but still enough restaurants close by to choose from. The villa had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the views amazing. We particularly liked the spacious patio overlooking the bay and enjoyed morning coffee and evening wine from there. We also made use of the washing machine and loved hanging our clothes to dry in the warm wind. We loved the outdoor shower. Everything we needed was close by at the little Grocery shop, including delicious fresh fruit. Raffaele was very kind and treated us to a welcome bubbly! Beautiful place that we highly recommend as a place to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Beautiful views and spacious home in a nice marina town with

The house is a wonderful escape. Plan for driving quite a ways 1 - 1 1/2 hours to other towns so we suggest renting a boat to travel place to place ($175 US for a rubber boat for a day + gas)... easy to take to Capri/Positano/Amalfi! Also, plan for the bare minimum of necessities available to you (no TV, WiFi is slow). There are several very good restaurants in the small town and a tiny market. We cooked two meals at the home and had snacks/wine/beer daily on the patio (truly breathtaking). Behind the house is a sidewalk that leads to a trail that leads to a beautiful beach club and restaurant (not inexpensive but very worthwhile!). Bring your own soaps/shampoos as it is not provided but can be purchased at the market. Lastly, parking a car was $15 Euro/day but could be avoided with a taxi from Sorrento/Naples (even a water taxi...we never used the car and it would have been much shorter trip by boat!). We would definitely return!

This is a magical place with an amazing team to support you.

Not like the BIG touristy Areas of the Amalfi Coast. This is just off the radar so still has a good vibe and crowd but kindof does it’s own thing. Easy access to everything by boat or car. You could fill several days just around town. Great house that everyone knows in town. People would peer through the gate to get a glimpse of the house. Trails are amazing. Food is great. Raffaele and his team are the over the top. He arranged boats, car services to Napoli airport, dinner reservations, dinner with private chef in the villa, and more for me. Book this house for amazing memories.
