Hotel is located on the edge of Old Hanoi, so it is about a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of the activity and Hoan Kiem Lake. The hotel is quite modern and rooms are spacious. The wifi worked well. A big plus is the complimentary breakfast offered at the hotel, which is a buffet style with a variety of Western and Asian options, including items that can be cooked to order. On the roof, there is a bar, which offered some nice views of the skyline, but there wasn't a large variety of drinks to choose from. There is a spa at the hotel, but unfortunately I did not have time to visit so I could not review this amenity. Overall, the best part of the hotel was the staff at the front desk as well as the staff in the restaurant. They were very helpful and accommodating, offering tips and advice to travellers on a variety of items. For example, I was heading on the overnight train from Hanoi to Sapa (Lao Cai) and I was asked if I wanted to shower in the spa before heading on my trip, which was very welcomed given that I was out during the day and the temperature was in the high 20s (Celsius). The gentleman at the front desk also offered some good tips on the timing of the bus ride for my return trip to Hanoi. The staff certainly made my stay extra special - kudos to them all for their hospitality!
