Fantastic location, highly recommend.
Fantastic location, helpful staff, would highly recommend. Having never travelled to Tokyo it was difficult to pick a hotel as there was so much choice. We were so happy with our choice of Hotel Amanek Asakusa Azumabashi Sky - we will be reommending to all our family & friends.

Great service!
The staff here was incredibly professional and friendly. It was a last minute booking but they were able to sort everything out and so in an extremely courteous manner.

Excellent two-night stay in a modern hotel
We stayed here for two nights, selecting this area as we planned to see the Sumida firework display. The hotel though is also just a short walk from a Metro station and quite near the Sky Tower complex (10 min walk), and we can recommend there both the Sumida aquarium and the food hall/food court! The hotel front desk were friendly and professional throughout our stay, with very efficient check-in and check-out. The room (double bed) was small, but not unusually so for a Toyko hotel. The design and layout of the room we felt was very good with high quality furnishings - a large area for the double bed, and a good size bathroom. The only thing that might inconvenience some people could be the need to access the bed from a recess at the foot of the bed (access would also be improved if they could use a thinner fully flat TV positioned flat against the wall). Note that in Japan check-in and check-out times are fairly strictly adhered to (not a problem for us, but note that check-out here is 10.00am). Overall an excellent stay - I noticed on check-out that they also offer a breakfast service - we did not use this (obviously) but the price looked quite reasonable. Definitely a place we will look at for future stays in this part of Tokyo.
