Phitharom PP Resort

The hotel is perfect for anyone who values a resort island experience over five-star facilities. What makes it a gratifying stay: Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Outstanding views of Phi Phi island village, harbor and beach. Quiet. Clean. Excellent location for fast access to the heart of the village. Nice, well-kept swimming pool. Highly affordable. Spacious rooms. And the king bed was great. The room makeup each day is done very quickly and thoroughly, right down to the bath towels folded into classic Thai designs and left on the bed. On the other hand and by way of full disclosure, if you need a TV, coffee maker, iron and ironing board etc. in your room, this isn't the hotel for you. And what makes the views so splendid is exactly what some folks will not want to endure---lots and lots of stairs to get to your room, at least the rooms with the most outstanding views. We've stayed at this hotel twice now, and have been very, very pleased with our experience with both stays. We will stay again, because we know what we love and we love this hotel.

- holes everywhere in the walls and in the ceiling, by which insects and reptiles come into the room - ac barely working, we were hot during the whole time - there were exactly 165 steps from the reception to the room, no elevator. - the floor on the patio was slippy as ice, I slipped and injured my back - WHEN there was water, the flow was so weak it would take ages to shower -consider that the wifi is not working -no restaurant so no breakfast

Great room for an affordable price. But don’t swim in the pool though.

Do not book this hotel under any circumstances. It is situated above a wastewater treatment plant and smells like sewage, and is also right above a loud club that plays music in to the early morning every single night. The bathrooms have no hot water, no water pressure, no soap, and no shower curtain. This was the most disappointing hotel we have ever stayed at.

Overall the Hotel/Room is in a bad condition with a broken sink, a very poor bathroom, broken toilet flush and old toilet seat, dirt under the beds and uneven steps to reach the bungalows. The hotel is good for backpacking and low key vacation, but the price we payed is way to high for this kind of hotel experience. Overall a non repeat.
