    Loved Quirky!

We loved the quirky nature of the hotel, bar and restaurant. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Only piece to point out the rooms can be quite tight in regards to room to put larger suitcases.

    Very new and funky.

Hotel is like new and very funky. Clients are trendy and the bar and restaurants were full most nights with a great vibe. Reception staff very friendly. The old things to consider are, no coffee making in the rooms, lowest rate room is very small according to friends that stayed same time as us. Ours was second cheapest room version and was fine. The room is super quiet due to insulation BUT, as it appears the hotel is build over the subway (like many hotels in the area), you can feel vibration and sometimes hear the thud of train or tram wheels. I slept perfectly, my wife did notice it and we were third level. There are some average people around the train area but perfectly safe any time and super convenient to old town and a day trip on the train.bus.tram and getting to the airport by train or bus. I was very happy with the hotel, particularly for the rate we paid verses other older hotels in the area or ones closer to old town. It's just the train vibration and if you want more space, choose second or third room option for sure.

AMAZING location but dusty and cramped room

Probably one the best locations in Munich to stay in. The central station and trams are literally across the road and it’s just a 15 min walk to the Old Town sights. However, must say that the room is quite small and was quite dusty when I was there. Bonus for having a Bluetooth boom box and they even offered a small messenger bag for use during your stay. Didn’t get the breakfast as we thought it was too expensive for just that.

We loved the hotel and convienent location next to the main station. It has a very homely feel and I loved the scent of the shower gels/lotions. However it is a 15 min walk to the centre but it’s flat so not an issue. Only negative was the street noise coming through the windows was quite loud. Otherwise everything else was great and we would definitely stay again.

Trendy hotel in the heart of Munich.

Excellent location right outside Munich central station. Trendy hotel with lovely quirky decor, great shower and toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We were staying during Oktoberfest and as expected the streets were a bit noisy at night - however my husband managed to sleep right through without any issues. The hotel is within walking distance to Marienplatz, lots of great restaurants as well as the Oktoberfest grounds. Highly recommend this hotel as a base to explore Munich.

  • 6.0.Good

Well located, friendly helpful staff, and great communal areas. Our room, however, was very dark, even with all lights on, painted black, on a lower floor with only an internal window. There were quirky design features, but basic needs not met ie nowhere to store clothes! It was quite a depressing space to be in, and we ended up leaving the hotel a night early. The bathroom was lovely though.
