Fantastic location in Hongdae, a few minutes walk to subway and one street back from main shopping and dining street. Remains quiet at night despite being so closer to everything, which is great! Late check out offered for small fee was a big bonus too.

10/10 Exceptional

The hotel location is extremely convenient as it is very close to the shopping and dining district at Hongdae, within 10 minutes walk to subway station and 3 minutes walk to airport bus stop. Hotel is clean but a little bit dated. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. A small supermarket and convenient store is around the corner which are also very useful.

6/10 Good

Comfortable bed and bath. Bath tub very big and nice , however it’s open so it’s ok for couples not friends. Some room have the ceiling with mould on it , some room have few stairs not good if you have heavy luggage. Minimum facilities , location near to bus stop not very near to metro.

The staff at the front desk were extremely kind and helpful. They spoke English and were patient while we tried to figure out our plans for the day. The room was clean and well stocked. The beds are not comfortable though sooo if you’re looking for a soft place to land this ain’t it.

My room at the 9 Brick Hotel was so nice that I actually had to force myself to go out and explore the city instead of just relaxing in the comfort of my room.

8/10 Very good

Room was very clean and housekeeping was very good. The hotel was also very conveniently located and it was easy to get to the metro as well as to experience the nightlife, while still being on a quiet street. Hotel had limited amenities, but that wasn't a big deal for us, as we went out for the entire day. Only big thing that bothered us was that our shower had no door, so the bathroom would get very messy. Overall, would definitely recommend giving 9 Brick Hotel a try!

6/10 Good

Our bathroom was leaking; water was flowing to the toilet. Appreciate that even it;s night time the hotel called someone to check that for us. But the person did not seem to be very happy; my friend was a little scared when he stared at her when she asked a question and said the toilet is leaking. Finally figured out not from the toilet. The room design are for couples, the bathtub had no door so the room is humid in general , the ceiling have mould on it , though covered by paint, you can see the mould at night time. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. Location is not very convinence if you plan to take metro from/to the airport.

The hotel is very well located close to the bars and restaurants in and around Hongdae Shopping Street. It is a short walk from Hongik University station (metro line 2 and airport all-stop train) and from Sangsu station (metro line 6). three different metro lines. The staff were welcoming, the room and ensuite bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable and the sound proofing was good.
