Incredible property steps from the beach. They were super helpful and kind. We had our 18 month old with us and everyone was wonderful and sweet to him. The view is amazing. Great beach chairs right outside the room that are included in the price. The location on the main road in town is excellent too. Couldn't be any better!!!! We will be coming back.

Our stay at Hotel La Palapa was amazing. The location is absolutely unbeatable—right on the beach with stunning views and everything in Tamarindo just steps away. The hotel itself is beautiful, relaxing, and perfectly set up for a laid-back beach stay. The hotel area is super nice, the room was great, and lots of hammocks and beach chairs in a private area. The man working the reception was extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside is having to walk through the restaurant entrance, past the heat of the kitchens etc to get to the hotel room. Only reason it’s 4 not a 5

Rolando and Audrey (at the front desk) were amazing! They helped arrange our transportation from the airport (both ways) but also arranged a shuttle to see friends over an hour away. They also arranged our surf lesson with Luis and we had THE BEST TIME. The restaurant attached to the hotel was great and had a “fire show” on the beach. We stayed in the Supreme room and the beds were great, it was super clean. We heard music from somewhere down the street until late, but it didn’t bother us. The town of Tamarindo is family friendly, lots of shops and restaurants. I felt very safe the entire time we were there. We will definitely be back, we only spent a couple of days and I want at least a week next time. Pura Vida!
