Never again
If you're after a secure stay, this is not the place to for you. The door to the street does not lock automatically, and there is a sign advising to close the door manually. Any random has access to ALL of the common areas once inside. This includes toilets and bathrooms. The matresses are wafer thin and pillows are the size of an A4 sheet of paper. The old lift has no safety features, such as a telephone to call for assistance in case of breakdown/entrapment. There are three showers and three toilets on level 3, for approximately 30 guests. How this place has managed to make it onto this site is beyond me. To finish, avoid this establishment if you can.

The stay was good. Everything was very clean, the staff was nice and helpful. The problem might be the lack of sound insulation, so every time someone enters their capsule, you would hear the sound of the opening door. Additionally, the capsules are made from thin plastic, so every time you enter/exit, it will make a squeaky sound. My capsule was very close to the reception so I found the noises disturbing. The inside of the capsule is also very bright when you are sleeping (lots of little led lights you can't turn off). The above means that if you are a light sleeper, it might be hard for you to have a solid slip. Personally, I found it moderately annoying ;)

Good enough for the price
I was unsure at first. When I walked in the signage wasn’t that great. I wasn’t sure about the old lift but got on and found my way to reception. The fellow that checked me in was great and then when I went to my room and capsule I couldn’t get the power to work. He kindly came on the lift with me and said I was in the wrong room, well no wonder. Silly me. So I got in to the right capsule and it was just fine for the price. I locked myself in and felt secure for the night. I liked that there were two USB charging ports but didn’t like that there was no normal power outlets. Facilities were all good enough for the short stay that I had.

Cheap private capsule rooms to relax & sleep in...
I had a great stay here over 3 nights! It was hot & humid in Sydney at the time of my trip but the capsule I stayed in was nice & cool. The room I stayed in (on Level 2) had 10 capsules in it & was air-conditioned. Level 4 with the kitchen, loungeroom & 1 room of capsules had no aircon at all at the time of my stay, so I'll request a Level 2/3 capsule for future stays. The capsules are not v soundproof but the other guests in my room were so quiet, I barely noticed I was sharing a room with anyone at all. Toilets & bathrooms were always clean during my stay. Free wifi was good. The bed was about 180cm long or slightly longer & the capsule height & width were about 1 metre, so it was very spacious for a small guest like me but the capsule may be too cramped for a larger guest & the bed too short for very tall people? Some of my friends thought the capsule would be too claustrophobic for them but I loved it there. The reception staff were very friendly & helpful. The capsules looked great inside, very space age, & the lighting & ventilation levels could be controlled easily. My TV was not working during my stay. Security was good with a swipe card to open the capsule, which could be locked shut whenever you went out. There was also a locker outside for each capsule which was opened & locked using your swipe card. There was open shelving available for large backpacks, guitars, surfboards & other larger items but items there could not be kept secure. Good central city location!
