  • Silverton as a place was great, our room had a bad smell to it, the main light didn’t…

  • No frills but it was clean and comfortable and served its purpose. No complaints at all.

It was a pretty basic hotel. Not bad, but I'd just call it a place to sleep in an emergency.

Clean and simple, nice added bonus of continental breakfast down the road. Might need to sleep with the window open as there is no AC, there is a fan in the room. All the necessities in a great location!

Clean, Nice little motel. Breakfast provided.

We enjoyed our stay at Prospector Motel. We stayed 2 nights. The room was clean, dated, and fairly comfortable. Bed squeaked quite badly but was comfortable when sleeping. The TV worked. There is coffee in the room. Plus a terrific breakfast offered down the street at a sister location: fresh coffee, juice boxes, milk boxes, a selection of mini cereal boxes, fresh bananas, packaged muffins and such. With a few locations claiming they cannot deliver promised breakfasts during Covid, this motel came through beautifully. Friendly, accommodating employees.

Don't park your car.. check in is somewhere else

The location is great, right in town. There was no one in the office. There was a note on the door saying to go to another hotel to check in. There was a half roll of toilet paper in the room. Thankfully, we had our own. The pillows ( 2 for a double bed) were as flat as can be. We didn't sleep well. The view is beautiful. Liked the celling fan.

Expect a very basic motel room- similar to 1950s style. Old furniture, thin walls, hard bed. Way over-priced because lodging in Silverton is so limited. On the plus side, the heat was good, satellite tv was good, breakfast had lots of choices and an excellent breakfast pizza slice. Wifi was ok but not for streaming.

No frills place to stay in downtown Silverton. Other hotels in town were way over priced, so we picked this one. They have recently updated most of the rooms, and everything was nice and clean. The owners handle several hotels, so you need to to to a different location to get your keys, etc. and get some coffee or packaged muffins in the am. Only complaint is the bed pillows . They were like flat rocks. I had to pull out a soft jacket to put under my head so I could at least get some sleep. Don't look for great service, or even a blow dryer...but it was fine for one night.
