A good value for Cambridge travelers
The house shares common living quarters but did have a room you can lock from the inside, while you sleep. The owners were friendly and helped manage guest parking in the driveway (a convenience in Cambridge), and on street parking was also available. The house was immaculate and located in a quiet neighborhood. It’s close enough to the city that you won’t absolutely require a car, and public transportation is available. This was an excellent alternative to more expensive options in the area. The bed was quite comfortable and the shared areas were spacious.

Overall lovely place to stay
I enjoyed staying here a lot! It was a very nice place. It was hard to get a hold of them at first when we arrived, but after a few minutes it all worked out. Also, the other people who were staying there were a bit loud and cooked a lot, so I mostly stayed in my room.

Poor 2.0
I was quite disappointed in my stay. Since I booked it through Hotels.com I naturally assumed it was a hotel. It was far from it. Though it was spotless and the host seemed kind, it felt the onus was more on keeping the place spotless than the guest's comfort. Every time I left the place even just to go down to my car, someone had come in and adjusted the air conditioner and moved things around. My bedroom door had no lock on it unless I was inside the room. I had to continually take my valuables with me whenever I left. There was no free breakfast and the parking was street parking but only in designated spots that were known only to the owner. I don't drink coffee or tea, and the trip to Harvard Square was not right outside the door as I was led to believe. There should've been, at the very least, more than one little tray of ice in the freezer, especially in this heat. I was not in town for pleasure, but for medical reasons and needed some extra comfort. For the price paid, it would have been way more cost effective to get an AirBnb room for somewhere around $50 per night which were available, but I thought I would be more comfortable in a hotel so as not to have to share space. It may work better for a family.

I don't think this is a hotel, it is a basement of a house! Also, the name of the hotel is cheating! It is 7miles from Harvard square. You can find a much better room never Harvard with this price.
