front desk receptionist wasn't the friendliest, price was a little steep for Knightdale, I checked a Hampton I had stayed at in Raleigh off of Six Forks and it was cheaper. The main reason I chose Knightdale is because I had an appointment in Knightdale at 7:30am.

The check-in was horrible with 2 different staff members taking 45 minutes and taken into different rooms, 2 of which were occupied. Did not recognize my expedia confirmation. Detailed report summited to expedia and hampton. In the end was forced into a room with double beds when a single king was confirmed.

The mattress was worn out. A few minor items like the Co2 detector was hanging off the wall, baseboard missing and very low water pressure in the lavatory. Room did seem very clean and the property as a whole was in good shape.

Loved the hotel, location was perfect with shops in walking distance and super close to my family. I’ll be staying at this hotel every time I visit Knightdale. Only drawback, my emotional support dog was not allowed to stay in the hotel with me.

There were too many unkept looking older males hanging around the entry side and in the lobby (10 or more). They were eating the hotel cookies and talking loud. I am older and it didnt seem nice to me. When I came back from my business, they were still there. This is not new. I have stayed there several times and it seems to be usual behavior. My ride said she would wait until I got to the elevator safely. I looked for the person behind the desk but no one was there. ( at nine pm)

My new favorite Hampton Inn in Raleigh
I stayed for 5 days. Staff was very courteous. Breakfast was served hot every morning including Saturday. Room was clean and the temperature was perfect. It was a very pleasant stay, with free on-site parking, even on nights that we arrived back at the hotel after 11pm. I like this location over the other Hampton that we stayed at previously. Definitely planning to stay here again.

Overall it was a good stay. Used the fitness center and morning breakfast. Happy with both. The bed was a little firm for my liking, so I didn't sleep particularly well. Staff was very friendly.
