Singapore Stopover
Ideal location - bus stop at door and close to China Town. Room very small, no wardrobes. Breakfast was iffy - juice one day but not the next. One glass in bathroom still had what looked like tooth paste on it. Staff helpful but not fully informed. Would recommend but with caution.

Incredibly loud, impossible to sleep
Room located on the first floor next to a busy street and a couple of bars/clubs on the ground floor. Insulation of the room or any kind of noise protection not existing. Luckily earplugs were already laying on the nightstand. Impossible to sleep without those ones due to the incredible noise all night long. Possibility to change rooms apparently not given because the hotel was booked out. However in these case I expect some kind of accommodation, e.g. discounts, vouchers etc.. Unfortunately the hotel wasn’t willing to offer any of that and some stuff actually turned rude. So if you want to have a good nights sleep, stay away from this apartment. And to the hotel, you simply cannot offer rooms for US$ 140 with this noise. The room itself, as well as the cleanliness and breakfast was fine. The rooftop is more or less a joke

Good location to explore older parts of Singapore
Good location for us and we walked everywhere. The river was only a couple of blocks away, and we strolled along looking at the memorials to people who helped make Singapore what it is today. The Merlion statue is not too far, with a good view of the Marina Bay Sands hotel across the water. We walked to Gardens by the Bay, looking at things en route; spent some time inside the 2 domes, then did the treetop walk, and stayed for the evening light show. Had a good massage just a few doors down from the hotel before catching the MRT to the airport. Hotel staff were helpful with maps and info. Breakfast was worth it, with a selection of hot and cold western and Asian dishes. Hotel is 2 years old, rooms looked fresh and nice. Room was not huge, but adequate, and included toothbrushes, razor, etc. Could hear street traffic and buses outside when we arrived, but all died down at night and didn't intrude on sleeping.
