Was exactly what you would expect it to be for a pub based hotel ... room was small but adequate for what I needed. Shower and toilet was sperate and shared, annoying but fine for the price. It felt clean and safe. Generally speaking it was pretty good value.

The room was clean and nicely updated. Staff were friendly and check-in easy. Bathroom was roomy and clean. Everything was great apart from the noise. I was expecting it to be a bit noisy until 11 when live music ended but it was quite a bit noisier than I expected. Even once the live music was over it was still quite noisy. I had some earplugs I ended up using. I stayed a Saturday night and had to be up early Sunday morning so I probably should have known better than to stay at a pub.

Very clean and the staff are incredibly nice! Paint coming up in the room but overall a great place and would happily stay again. Make sure you bring white noise for the music and shouting from downstairs!
