Excellent hotel and great value
A wonderful property. The location was excellent for our visit to Kyoto. We liked being in Gion and just a short walk about 15mins to downtown Kyoto. The service was fantastic, the room was also very spacious and lovely. We will definitely be staying here again.

Like: The staff was amazing, attentive and professional from the time we arrived to the time we left. We had minor deposit box/AC issues but both were resolved immediately to our satisfaction. Our room was spacious for the Gion area with walking distance to many great temples/shrines with restaurants close by. Breakfast buffet was very good. Hotel provided hourly transportation to/from Kyoto Station. Not Like (minor): Not many queen/king rooms available (more twin/delux twin beds), dinner must be reserved a day in advance and shower takes a little bit of getting used to. Overall: Enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.
