centrally situated, although there are many hotels nearby, we have stayed here regularly, as we often go to the city for theatre and arena shows. Breakfast is also a treat, the best and cheeriest staff you could ever meet, there is nothing you could mention that is too much trouble, they are the absolute best.

Nicely refurbed and quiet (given where it is located). Curtains needed attention in 306 as could not close them fully as damaged. Air con certainly needed attention as it was set to 19 and it was not 19 in that room (more like 26) and the temperature could not be adjusted downwards and on such a hot night. But stay very convenient and pleasant, would stay again and good location for bars/restaurants etc

For the price which compares favourably with a premier inn - the holiday inn express in Birmingham city centre proved a nice surprise and excellent value - all you can eat breakfast, complementary hot chocolate, coffee, tea throughout day and night, the bar was open until 1am, helpful staff. Modern clean rooms. 5mins walk into the city centre. Will probably book again when visiting Birmingham.
