Himeji is great to visit and this hotel is fine.

Like many Japanese hotels, the room was small. But we spent very little time in it. Himeji is such a great place to visit - with the famous castle, cable car and mountain-top temple. This hotel is near the station. As such its recommended that you stay here overnight.

Great little hotel within 1 min walk of Himeji station. Staff were nice, japan is introducing a lot of self checkin machines which takes away from the personable experience in my opinion, but I guess others might like not talking to staff. Room was clean and had everything I needed, typical Japanese size room. Bathroom is typical style and modern, for some it may be small but this is a typical size for this type of hotel. Free breakfast was nice, good variety (buffet) and they are trying to avoid food wastage which is great. All in all, nice stay and easy walk to EVERYTHING.
