My wife is a Filipina so every few years we travel to the Philippines to visit her family in Luzon then to another island for vacation. Despite high reviews for previous resort selections, my wife and I have been disappointed with our selections for various reasons. Sometimes the resort does not meet our expectations and sometimes it’s the resort area. We were delighted to find that Island View exceeded our expectations. In fact, my wife had tears in her eyes when we left because she enjoyed her stay so much she didn’t want to leave. Me too.
The resort and Anda Province, where it is located, are beautiful. Combine that with first rate service and delicious meal options, we fell in love with the place. It’s apparent by the actions of the owner and staff that they want your stay to be special from the moment you arrive until you leave. We were greeted by the owner and about 1/2 dozen staff when we arrived and similarly bid farewell when we departed.
The staff are professional in that they are always dressed in clean pressed uniforms, polite, friendly, and helpful. The grounds are covered with palm trees, flowering plants, and ponds like the dragonfly pond. The rooms and restaurant face the sea and the view is spectacular.
