Great hotel i recommend it
The hotel is great, great location. Room is huge in Japan's standard and top of the line. Night life and wondefful restaurants are near. Would definitely stay again if im around. The only thing that wasnt pleasing is the fact that i asked for late check out and received the option for one additonal hour for a fee. Overall great pick

Suite deal in Kyoto.
Rainy day in Kyoto. Arrived early. Luggage was stored.and umbrella offered. There was a misunderstanding on reservation as we had 3 guests and only a double room. They upgrade us to a 3 bed corner room at no charge. View of the river. Close to all the Gion shops and dining. Easily would come back!

The garden room was simply beautiful. We loved the room, it was way more spacious than what you usually get in a hotel in Japan. Everything we could need was already in the room. The bathroom felt like a spa, perfect and relaxing. The staff were amazing and kind, simply the best. Check in and check out was easy. We do not speak Japanese, and staff made a reservation for us over the phone for a local restaurant we were interested in. They also helped us send our luggage on ahead to the next hotel. There was always someone at the desk who would help in English. The location of this hotel is also excellent. You can walk to 2 subway stations in 5 minutes. You can walk to Gion or take a longer stroll to Nijo castle. Overall, this is an amazing hotel and location. I cannot recommend it enough. It's now our favorite Kyoto hotel.

Overall a hotel that you will come back.
A very convenient located hotel. Serve by two metro line. Room is narrow and long. If you have 2 big luggage you may need to open 1 on your bed to access your belonging. Hotel breakfast is nice. But remain the same everyday. I stay 3 night all 3 morning same. Overall a hotel I will come back again.
