Great boutique hotel near Ginza! I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Tokyo. If you need walking directions to this hotel, here you go: 1. Be sure to use the Ginza Gate to exit from the JR Shimbashi station. 2. As soon as you exit, you will notice a sign that says Big Echo Karaoke on the left. Cross the zebra crossing and keep to the right. 3. You will reach another zebra crossing. If you look to the left, there’s a blue road sign that says SENJU/ UENO with an arrow pointing straight. Follow that direction. Cross the zebra crossing. 4. As you walk, there is a Starbucks on the right. 5. You will cross a tiny zebra crossing. 6. You will reach a big intersection. Look up to see the sign that says Daiichikehin Ave 15. 7. Turn left and cross the big zebra crossing. Across the street is Doutor Café and a store called Tamakiya. 8. Follow Tamakiya towards the right then turn left at the corner. Do NOT cross the zebra crossing on the right! 9. You will reach another tiny zebra crossing. Cross it. You will be under the highway. On the left, you will notice a sign with a giant crab for the Kani Doraku Restaurant. 10. Look to the right and you will see the Swarovski store. 11. The next corner will be Ginza 7. Turn right at this corner. Across the street is the MUFG Bank. 12. Go straight and stay on the right side of the street. Three blocks down you will see the sign on the left that says HOTEL MUSEE GINZA MEITETSU. You're there!

Good 6.0
Great hotel, but if you are alone
This hotel is probably made for people on business trip, at least for the standard rooms. Rooms are clean and comfortable, it is ok on this point, they are small, but it is ok too because you are in the middle of Ginza's district. What really inconvenienced us is the layout of the room : there is no bathroom. The sink is located in front of the beds and the shower is in the entrance corridor, which is not great for privacy.

Very good 8.0
I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was nice, the restaurant had good food, the convenience store downstairs was super convenient. It was in a good location. The hotel was clean, quiet, there were plenty of nice amenities, space is used efficiently, and they do hold your luggage all day after checkout since checkout is early. However, I did have two small grievances. The room size and the hardness of the bed. The bed is just personal preference but I thought it was much too firm so I had trouble sleeping. My travel companion however had no issue with the bed. I will say however that the room I had was very small. I got their smallest room, the semi-double, because it was just my friend and I (we are both small sized ladies, and we did fit nicely on the bed). Plus this is Japan so I shouldn't expect a lot of extra space. But there was no place for our suitcases. Luckily my friend and I had little carry-ons. So we just left them in the walking space...and stepped around them or shifted them to get around. But if we had large checked bags....I don't know what we would have done as even the walking space is very narrow.

Great Stay
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel room was clean. It was a little weird at first with the sink in the main room and not the bathroom but we got used to it. The location of the hotel is great. The hotel is conveniently connected to a 711. Right across the street is Lawsons and the next block over is a Family Mart. Great access to train stations, shopping (Don Quijote, Uniqlo, GU etc...) and eating places (Annam Indian Restaurant, Ippudo, Tsukiji outer market etc...). We did not interact too much with the hotel staff because the main lobby of the hotel is on the 2nd floor. But when we did they were friendly. The housekeeping lady on the 12th floor was very sweet and friendly and did an excellent job keeping our room clean and tidy. Great place to stay in Ginza. Thank you.

Very well located hotel
Very convenient location close to Shimbashi JR station and Ginza on the subway. Staff were extremely helpful on checking in and booked a nearby restaurant for us. Room was fairly compact but very comfortable and well appointed. Don’t lose your room keys though as they charge a fee for any that are lost!
