Located just a short drive (2 minutes) from the heart of Eastport's historic seaport. Come experience the real Maine, a working waterfront with many unique shops, galleries and restaurants. The Breakwater offers deep water fishing from the pier. Eastport is famous for it's festivals: July 4th celebration, the infamous Pirate Festival, Bay Day and the Eastport Salmon Festival. The Tides Institute and Museum showcases the history and culture of the Passamaquoddy region. Culinary options abound. Gorgeous coastal views

This house accommodated my family of 7 very comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked (an important detail for me) and the house even had a myriad of cookbooks to pursue while we relaxed. The view from the back deck is absolutely stunning! We spent almost all of our time out there. We watched a bald eagle fly over our heads every afternoon around 3pm and we watched seals play in the water. The kids loved walking the beach and finding sea urchins, sand dollars and crabs. We will certainly rent this wonderful house again!

    Gorgeous property and lovely home

This is a dream location and rental home. The property is large with a private beach - blueberries, raspberries and beautiful flowers line the walking paths. The tides make the beach very expansive during parts of the day - plenty of room for beach bonfires or picnics. The home is nicely laid out for a group - with great shared spaces and enough rooms for privacy. It is very clean and well appointed with supplies (pots / pans inside and beach clamming suppliers, etc. for use outdoors). We felt Mary had thought of everything whenever we wondered if there were extra beach chairs, towels, etc. We loved the decorations that incorporated many elements of nature and the area. Mary could not have been kinder with our questions - she provided great recommendations on the area and was very fast to address our emails / texts. You are close to town - grocery, restaurants and some activities. Make sure to bring bug spray (the bugs come out at night when you are enjoying stargazing on the great patio) and water shoes (it's a bit rocky if you are going to hunt for mussels and shells in the water). Our families loved our visit and hope to return!

    Perfect For Us

Kudos to Host Mary!!! Excellent accommodations!!! Charming, comfy, convenient to restaurants and shopping in Eastport. The house is beautifully decorated with ample seating inside and outside on the spacious porch. Especially appreciated how well equipped the house was right down to tissues in every room! The kitchen had everything you could need or want. The selection of wine glasses was a perk.

    Absolutely lovely house!

Staying at Mary’s was such a delight! The house was perfect! We saw seals, pilot whales, eagles and of course numerous loons from the deck. And being able to catch a glimpse of the Old Sow whirlpool from the house was also such a treat! The house had everything we needed and more. We’re already planning on coming back next year!
