A very enjoyable, modern European stay
My favourite place to stay when visiting Dusseldorf! Clean, modern rooms and decor throughout the hotel. Free minibar and waterfall shower amazing after a long journey! Kind and helpful staff. Food good, but slightly overpriced.

Excellent small hotel
Excellent new hotel a short walk away from the old town. Really friendly staff, comfortable room and a good basic breakfast. Only negative was automatic light in bathroom that had a mind of its own and could not be switched off. Receptionist was aware of this and they are trying to fix.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It is centrally located t6i all the shopping and restaurants. The hotel was emaculate. It is a little far from the airport but worth it since jo need to get taxis to move around to all the sites and shopping. We paid an average of 27 euros for the taxi.

Stayed on business, felt like vacation
I stayed at the Fritz for 2 nights during a quick business trip earlier this year – but I wish I could have stayed longer. Having opened less than a year ago, the hotel is still in nearly mint condition. The interiors are tastefully and delightfully designed, with astonishing attention to detail. The staff is friendly and attentive (thanks, Sarah!). And in terms of location, I’m not sure you can do much better: The Fritz is located just across the street from The Königsallee, and not much farther from the Aldstadt and Rhine River. Where we might otherwise avoid hotel restaurants, my colleague and I had no problem staying in for dinner at Fritz’s Frau Franzi – the menu and food are excellent. And I thought I was still dreaming the following morning when I saw the impressive breakfast spread (my only advice is to leave enough time to really savour the breakfast, rather than rushing to the airport like I did)! Although I was traveling for work, staying at The Fritz made me feel like I was on vacation. Is there any higher praise?
