The room was a double and single not much space but clearly aimed at one or two nights stay I would certainly recommend it , but you need to realise it is a budget hotell

Very basic room for price not even glasses for water and tv so small (laptop size) you couldn’t even read the tv guide from the bed but on the plus size good shower and food was really good at dinner and staff very friendly

John o Groats is in general a quiet and isolated place so this hotel was is a decent place to stay. It was really important that we could dine & drink some beers and beverages at the same place. You won’t find luxury but a nice safe room to rest and a nice place to have your breakfast lunch and dinner!

Left a day early.
Sea view? All we had was 3’ square wall view in a dark and dingy hostel type room. The bed was creaky and uncomfortable. Food was ok. Staff pleasant. Will not use this hostel type hotel again.
