Omah Apik

Plan on sticking around Omah Apik as much as you can to absorb the super laid back and relaxing vibe of the real authentic Bali. It's another world from the honky tonk, tourist overrun in Ubud center. We did small, early morning trips and then just reveled in the beautiful surroundings and superb hospitality.

Omah Apik I learned means beautiful home or nice house, and this place absolutely lives up to this meaning. It is an oasis overlooking rice fields and is magically landscaped. The rooms/buildings are uniquely designed and there is obvious attention to detail and to upcycling things into functional and esthetic furnishings or structures. Breakfast is amazing...delicious and healthy and there are choices each day...it's hard to choose between all the great choices. (pancakes and fruit muesli were my favorites) There is a cool "help yourself" hot beverage station with lots of choices and filtered water always available. There are lots of choices if you choose to have dinner in house. The pool and straw huts are sweet and have an amazing view of the rice fields, mountains, and sunset. This is a great place to relax and chill while still being close to many activities close by. There are bikes and mopeds you can rent and the staff can help you book taxis. Everyone who works at Omah Apik is super kind and helpful but also has the art of letting you be independent and comfortable. Bali is a busy, bustling place and Omah Apik is quiet haven ;) I would love to go back ;)

Second time staying at Omah Apik and I’ll be staying there again. The property is well kept and quiet, the staff are the most friendly I’ve been around, the view is amazing and an awesome breakfast every morning. The staff takes pride in doing things right the first time. The villa is within walking distance of a day and night market so local food easily accessible. Can’t say enough about how much my wife and I enjoyed our stay.

Fijne ruime kamer en badkamer. Personeel is heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ligt iets buiten Ubud, waardoor het hier heerlijk rustig is.

Omah Apik is een plek waar we ons helemaal thuis voelen. Vriendelijke medewerkers die precies de juiste balans vinden. Volledige rust in een Prachtige natuur. Wij gaan zeker terug!

Das Hotel liegt mitten in den Reisfeldern und ist mit sehr viel Liebe gestaltet. Man fühlt sich sehr willkommen und das Personal ist total nett. Auch das Essen ist sehr lecker! Wir würden jederzeit wieder hin fahren und es definitiv weiterempfehlen.

Perfect hotel to combine the beautiful surroundings of Ubud with its business in city centre.. Grap a scooter (for only 70K a day) at the B&B and enjoy the trip (15-20min) to Ubud's centre. Don't be scared.. just do it ! It's worth it.. Nice staff, Etha has created a lovely place ! Wonderfull to see that she is so committed to several charities. During our stay we participated in a movie directors evening and a monthly jam session eveing. Very nice and these have centainly enriched out stay.
