Great place, water bungalows are a must have, only downside is the dive shop can be noisey, no sleeping in.

    Affordable Bora Bora!
This is a great option for Bora Bora if you don't have the funds or don't want to spend all of your money on an expensive hotel. The bungalows are clean and spacious, the location is excellent, and the service fantastic. If you get a garden room, you may have street noise, but traffic usually stops around 10pm or so. There is a very nice pool, and they do have beautiful waterfront bungalows. Overall, I highly recommend Oa Oa Lodge

Newly Weds Staying for 2 nights
OA Oa is great spot. Nice and quite for you couples a very nice pool and easy ocean swimming right our front. The restaurant attached to the property is currently closed as it going through some ownership changes. A little disappointing but Saint James and Bora Bora are close by and offer an excellent dinning experience. The food and wine was top shelf. Great value for wait you can pay at some other hotels.

    DATED
Stayed at the Oa OA for a week in late April. There was a big clothes cabinet in the bungalow that was pushed into an opening in the wall, which was screwed in with an accumulation of garbage that couldn't be taken out, but we had some of it FISHED OUT by housekeeping. The WiFi had to constantly be RESET. A VERY poor signal. The mattress was HARD and at one point my girlfriend had to use the pillows as her mattress. The cabinet over the sink seemed like it didn't belong there because I kept hitting my head. I'm an average height guy. There was an AC unit that looks like it worked, but later I spoke with another guest and he said that it would cost EXTRA to turn on.We stayed in bungalow 5. Had to settle for the ceiling fan. It's not a bad place to stay but it could use some RENOVATION. I like the fact that the stand up shower and sink are in one room and the the toilet is in another. That's pretty cool!! I had heard good things about Tom on reviews and it seems he was DISINTERESTED when I brought up some of the issues with the garbage behind the cabinet and ESPECIALLY the WiFi. He deferred me to Henry, who was very helpful. Maybe there's another Tom that works there. The property itself is nice but it could use an UPGRADE.

    Budget friendly paradise
Oa Oa Lodge was a fantastic budget minded place to stay on a historically expensive island. They met us at the ferry, set us up with breakfast that included local fruit each morning (not so cheap but super helpful in this part of town!) and let us take the bikes out for a spin (and came and swapped one out when the tire popped). The property is on a boat harbor, so there isn't a beach, but Matira Beach isn't terribly far and you still get to see the fantastic water of Bora Bora right outside your door. I would happily stay here again if I get the chance.

    Great stays
This lodge is a great choice if you want to experience local Polynesian culture and daily life. It is easy to travel around for the restaurant in the island. Free transfer to restaurant at dinner time. There is free boat to Vaitape and the lodge will pick you up for free.

It was amazing, exotic, and nice to stay at a small hotel outside of the town.
