Bel Jou is a nice, if fairly generic, property in the hills above Castries. It's a little out of the way of anything and not walkable to anything - it seemed very much apart from anything genuinely St. Lucian. But it was clean and comfortable and the restaurant is excellent

First and foremost, the staff was amazing. The resort, although a little outdated, provided a wonderful getaway. The resort does not have beach access, but you have a clear view of the ocean from the resort. Daily meals were hot and delicious with a wide variety of items to choose from.
