We wanted to stay a night in town before heading to a resort. This is past town and down a dirt road (so take a cab - don’t walk with luggage like we did). It’s tucked away in the jungle, so you’ll see some lizards and hear some animals from the trees. The yurts were pretty nice, but I imagine it gets hot if you stay during the hot season. Overall it was 100% worth the experience of staying there.

We loved it. Kids loved it. Fun to sleep in the jungle. Amazingly nice staff. The owner, Antonio, is worth getting to know. Really interesting guy. Speaks five languages. He has an animal sanctuary that is worth visiting with a really cool Cenote (fresh water pool inside a cave). Waking up to hearing monkeys was super cool. We ride the free bikes into town and down to the beach. Stayed a couple nights there then went to a resort on the beach. Glad we did both as opposed to just the beach. Highly recommend it. We like to camp but also like the Four Seasons. This was a great way to get a little bit of both.

    Great Nature Stay

If you’re looking for a secluded stay and connection with nature this is your place. Amazing concept with the tents in the middle of jungle. Few cenotes in property and staff goes out of their way to help you. Jose and Guadalupe at the front very helpful and friendly. Hotel is a 3 minute bike ride from town and 10 minutes from the beach. There are bikes at hotel. Rooms are very clean. Restaurant on site is cozy and food decent, much cheaper prices than Tulum for sure. If you want to disconnect for a few days, this is your place.
