Helmshore

Hello, the owners of this hotel were very nice and they had wonderful breakfast options. It was also in a pretty central area in Blackpool. My first room was quite small, then I was quite small and then I was put into a much larger room. The one big issue in that the WiFi did not work in either of these rooms on either my iPhone or iPad. They also said that Wifi would work in common areas but it did not work in the dining room when I was not close to the kitchen. They claimed that no one had ever complained about it, but I can’t see how it was just BOTH of my brand new Apple devices not connecting. Anyways, a decent place to stay if you don’t care about that, and the food was good

This is a traditional old style Blackpool b&b. It is in a quiet road just off the main drag from pubs and shops in easy walking distance. It is very clean and the owners make you feel welcome. Yes the rooms are small and abit old fashioned but it’s very reasonably priced and perfect for a night or 2 in Blackpool. The breakfast was excellent. Lovely well cooked full English not greasy with choice of cereals etc. There is a games room and bar area downstairs.

Staying at Helmshore was one of many hotels on our journey around the UK and is the one that definitely stands out for us. The hotel is perfectly located and is very welcoming. Our hosts were a delight and definitely made the stay much more pleasurable. Breakfast was quick (and very filling!) which was lovely for us to know that we could have a good meal before a busy day. Should we stay in Blackpool again then this is definitely the hotel we will return to!

Fantastic weekend, had a ground floor room for 2 adults & a child (there is a lift at hotel if your above ground floor). The owners were a lovely couple, breakfast was fantastic plenty of selection to choose from. Will definitely be booking this hotel for our next visit to Blackpool

Loved staying here. Really handy location for events at the Winter Gardens, as it's just round the corner. Nice room, lovely staff and generous breakfast. Will definitely be staying again.
