The hotel is immaculately kept. We splurged on the beachfront suite (for a very slight upgrade) and woke every morning to the sight of blissful perfection. The staff, led by the most warm and kind, Karla, were fantastic. The waiter in the on-site restaurant seemed a little less helpful, but I believe that it may have been partly due to language barriers. Cielo Maya little off the beaten path of the “Instagram Famous” Tulum, but you are between many excursions and taxis are at hand to hit the downtown areas. The peace and tranquility that this little gem offered was more than we could have hoped for. The rest is just “okay.” But, it was nice to have a free breakfast before spending the day being active. There are several hotels in walking distance, to switch up your dining choices. An awesome cenote is right across the street for an easy adventure, and kayaks are freely available. Also, the masseuse was extraordinary. I can’t say enough positive words about this place. I hope that this secret is kept safe until our next visit.

Nice stay
Great hotel, very friendly staff. The water was brown, much like we have here in Galveston, so we had to be creative when taking pics. The nice blue water starts at the end of the pier. Food at the hotel was better than any restaurant we had eaten at while there.

Everything was excellent! So very happy with our stay. Impeccable cleanliness and service. Our room was outstanding. Beautiful and comfortable with increasingly views. All services were on point. Beautiful cenote just across the street. So happy with everything.

The hotel is right on the beach, and the views are amazing. All of the staff are friendly. The hotel is about 5 minutes north of Tulum town, so it is more quiet and peaceful and away from the hustle. The pier is also nice, you can lay in the hammocks and relax over the ocean. You can also get a massage right on the pier as well. Restaurant breakfast is good. The hotel is small, with maybe 12 or so rooms so it feels more private and secluded. Would highly recommend having a rental car, especially if you want to explore Tulum and the surrounding cenotes and theme parks. Given where the hotel is located, taxis back and forth will get expensive and you may have to walk about 5-10 minutes to the taxi stand. There is a lot of seaweed, but the staff worked hard to clean it up in the morning. The water and the view are still excellent though. There is also a beautiful cenote you can visit that is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. There was a power outage when we arrived (no fault to the hotel), but by the time we came back from dinner the power was back on. Toilet didn't flush sometimes and the shower takes a few minutes to get warm water but no big deal. Highly recommend staying here. Good value and right on the beach!

It was awesome! We had the ocean front view room on the first floor and was amazing to wake up every day to that view! Def worth some extra money for the room!! Bring water shoes so you can grab one of the kayaks and paddle a few feet away from the beach so you can swim and do some snorkel. Food surprisingly was very Amazing!! The fried calamari, coconut shrimp and the omelettes specially. I have zero complaints.

Beautiful views.
Small hotel by the beach with amazing views across the ocean. Staff were very good, especially the masseuse who was excellent. The only criticism I would have to make was the dining room which was overly dominated by tv screens and bright lighting. Not in the least romantic which it could have been. However we would unequivocally recommend this hotel.

Very nice place, 2nd time I've been there. Really nice, spacious rooms. Food at the restaurant is fantastic and reasonably priced. Its a bit far from town but you would pay much more money for the same quality of place right in town.
