Proximity to the beach was great. Walk down for a surf or sunsets. Short scooter ride to Batu Balong, Canggu or Echo Beach. Very quiet area, partly residential. Very nice cafes and restaurants in the Berewa area (Duatiga is da bomb), even more over in Canggu. Can walk around Berewa but scooter is better. In a taxi it is a nightmare to get in and out of Canggu, especially in the afternoon/evening, almost 2hrs from Echo Beach to Legian Beach. Stayed in a Family Duplex room, really good set up, seperate kids and adults downstairs/upstairs and great views from the balcony. Areas for improvement: restaurant (not bad, just that so many options outside the hotel) and more options with TV/movies (I couldnt get IPTV to work with my security settings).

Overall wonderful property situated fairly close to major places. Rooms were designed wonderfully. The best part of the hotel is it’s helpful staff. If I had a problem they tried their best to help. If I could change anything, I’d recommend the owners put money into repairs and small improvements. Overall you can’t go wrong with The Haven.
