We arrived around 11pm. On arrival we were brought down the street and around the corner to a "villa". The side street was poorly lit and dark. We were escorted to a large house. The main living area looked lived in. (Jam jar by the TV, smudges on glass table, partial empty large water jugs on counter and some food in the fridge). We were brought up to the second floor and invited to chose a room (both doors were left wide open). The staff told us we were the only ones staying in that "villa" for the night. After they left, I proceeded to the main floor to start locking up. The front door after being locked felt "loose" as if you could easily walk in (later while leaving we forgot to unlock the door and we're able to just push our way out). The bathroom window on the main floor was left open. All the other windows on the main floor were also left unlocked. We both felt very uneasy and unsafe staying there. We left and walked back to the main hotel complex. We asked if there was anywhere else we could stay (staff spoke good English but with a bit of a language barrier we are unsure if they understood why we didn't want to stay there) they said they had no other rooms but could set up beds in their conference room. We had an early flight so stayed. They brought in two thin dirty looking beach chair looking pads a fitted and a flat sheet. We asked for pillows, they were all in the wash but gave us towels to rest our heads. We paid full price for our stay here.
