Cheap but needs a good clean
Rooms were very dirty, moved room two times as neither of the other rooms had been cleaned. Most rooms don't have windows either.

No windows!
The Aura strikes me as a hostel that has ticked a few boxes in order to be called a hotel. My room had no windows and nowhere to hang my clothes, not even hangers just racks and old sets of drawers to put clothes in. The big plus was the receptionist who tried her best to help. The floorboards were creaky and the walls paper thin. The bedsheets were clean so no complaints there. Overall poor.

It was frustrating there was no front desk staff around until check in time. Would have been nice to be able to leave my bags & look around until Wellington while waiting
