Don’t do it, it’s like a Manhattan penthouse
The photos on the internet make you believe the place is much bigger, there is no pool it’s a fish pond, that’s definitely not a pool, wash cloth was very small, only gave two towels for the entire day, breakfast you can’t have fruits and porridge..it’s one or the other…they didn’t have no milk the first morning for my coffee, the food servings was so small, I ask for some more Calaloo it cost me $6us, Sorry I will only do Spanish court only when I am Kingston,They are amazing with the service, the ambiance, and the food …

My stay at R Hotel
The staff especially house keeper Tasha was nothing short from being amazing. She was attentive, friendly but very professional. The hotel is clean although the room I stayed in furnitures need replacing. Whilst this was the case I found the inclusive breakfast in the package mediocre as it’s the pretty much the same option everyday. For those who don’t want the cooked breakfast and eggs serviced with toast no butter sometimes. Would be good if there were some beans or bacon on the side. The hotel was very noisy with disturbance throughout the night from other guest snd or road traffic so sleep was not the best.

Great Place to Stay
I had an outstanding experience at the R Hotel. The ammenities were great, and our room was cozy. The only thing that disturbed me and my husband was that there were customers who checked in late, and they were noisy in the hallway and in their rooms near us. That is not the hotel's fault though.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
Terrible experience, I´ve asked for a late check out and they completely refuse it, Breakfast..the charge you for the cheese if you ask to add it into an ommelette(they dont provide for too many options..except for egss and some kind of porridge). The menu in the restaurant is really expensive for the kind of food they provide... A good recommendation from someone who use to sleep approx. 130 days in hotels, dont book this hotel!

It was good. The restaurant and bar was excellent. The food was amazing. The presentation was very European but the taste was purely Jamaican. My only complaint is the bed was very uncomfortable

Very clean, picture was accurate. I had a balcony, went for my birthday which is after Valentine’s Day. They had a nice dinner set up for vday. Had a pool. Food was excellent. The door card is a power card so when you take it out everything cuts off, if someone needs to leave the room and someone stays behind you would be stuck without power. Because you have to use the key for the elevator and they only give you one.

I loved staying at R Hotel very clean and friendly staff. Hotel location was convenient. Room cleaning, clean towels, bottles of water everyday and loved the complimentary Jamaican breakfast! I wanted to be close to Devon House and my 9 year old wanted a pool in case we had some downtime. Downside I didn’t feel safe walking in area by myself so I relied on cab services to get around (City Guide cab service was great and expensive). Pool was very small. The location and hours wasn’t kid friendly because of restaurant. My son was told to be careful of splashing because of others eating. I would definitely stay here again.
