Do not stay here! Avoid at all costs!
I got into Seattle after a 10+ hour flight from London and there were issues with my check when I arrived at the "hotel." It's actually just a random apartment building, so there is no assistance or front desk. I spent nearly 1 hour on online chat (then they went offline) and on the phone trying to figure out how to get into the building, then get my key. I FINALLY get into my room and there is no air conditioning. The room is boiling (thermostat said 80+ but it felt hotter). I called Stay Alfred again and they said there was no AC. I said it was entirely unacceptable not to have AC and not to clearly specify that in the room description (I never would book a hotel without AC). The person on the phone said "Duly noted" then hung up on me. I then went to open the sliding door to see if I could get cool air to come in, and found that the room faced a ground level parking lot (even though it was on Floor 3). So I can't leave the sliding door open. EVEN WORSE, the blinds on the sliding door are broken and they won't close. So everyone in the parking lot can see directly into the room. Also, the towel rack in the bathroom was barely attached to the wall and fell off when a towel was placed on it. Also, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and noisy. It felt like something that was 20 years old and purchased from a second-hand store. I called Stay Alfred again to ask for a refund and the agent (Christian or Christopher) said they would not do so and disconnected again.

Very good 8.0
Seattle Belltown area stay
Over all our stay was good, the property is in a great location and a close walk to most attractions. The apartment we stayed on was on the 4th floor facing what was avery busy and noisy street. There was no air conditioner so we had to keep a window open which made it even more noisy. The table was worn and looked like it had water damage and the blinds were bent and did not make the rooms very dark. We also only had one key FOB which as inconvenient due to having our teens with us and they were not able to enter the building or elevators without our presence. After 10pm a key FOB is needed to us the elevators which was a bit annoying. The Fire pit on the 8th floor deck was also out of service.

Very disappointed
!st time user on Alfred. Room key not available as cleaning crew forgot to place in KeyCafe. :45 later I was asked to Uber to another location for reimbursement. I was given address but had to walk a block at 12:45am to 'other' front door. The KeyCafe code was wrong and was given a second one which worked. Arrived to room and window blinds were missing slats and carpet was very dirty. Went to start shower and sink but NO H2O. Called Stay Alfred and rep informed me that the water main in the building was shut-off from 10p to 6am, but the prior rep had failed to inform me. At this time I asked for a FULL refund plus Uber reimbursements as I had to return to my parked car the next AM. Finally got into the original apartment which was clean, but overlooked parking area with lots of post lighting. I did get a FULL refund, but no Ubver reimbursements. I really expected someone with authority to contact me by phone, text, or email to discuss all the wrongs that took place, esepecially the 1st experience. This did not happen and not likely to use or Stay Alfred again. This is why I am loyal to Marriott Hotels, but tried from a co-worker recommendation.

The blender, second bathroom fan did not work and the pots and pans were really scratched up and should’ve been thrown away along time ago. The dishwasher was not connected to the counter after they remodeled which made loading dishes awkward. The faucets above the sinks in the bathroom were too high which meant that if you washed your hands the water would spill all over the counters. The carpets absolutely need to be changed. The location and size of the space was Good

Seattle Stay Alfred on Elliott
This place was what we were looking for and not much else - a place for a family of four with two grown children who wouldn't share a bed. Checking in was easy using the app, but there is no chance of checking in early. We arrived 40 minutes earlier than expected and had to wait until 3:00 to access the keysafe. Not a big deal but notable. The booking stated two rooms with a king and a queen, and a sofa bed - the king was a queen and the queen was a full. The beds were comfy but the sofa was better for sleeping than sitting on. The carpet in one bedroom was in dire need of replacement, so much so that we didn't feel comfortable going barefoot. The blankets for the sofa bed were stained and the cleanliness was suspect. The lighting in the two bathrooms was horrible - one of them was like candlelight and the timed light was broken. The water pressure was okay and the water heated up in good time. The showerheads were low as is typical. There were enough towels for our party of four but on a longer stay we wondered if we would have had to launder them ourselves. At least there was a washer and dryer in one of the hall closets. WiFi was probably the best part of the stay, testing in between 180Mb and 235Mb - plenty enough for streaming to various devices. There is no onsite parking. We parked across the street under the Art Institute for a $24/day fee. All in all, it was a good experience. The amenities provided at the price were better than renting 2 hotel rooms.
